On April 20 the Student Applied Research Conference “Patriotic Upbringing based on the Legacy of Past and Present” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the beginning of World War II took place in UdSU library.

April 19-20 UdSU is receiving the delegation of the Kazan Federal University consisting of the representatives of the Faculty of Pre-University Training for KFU International Students: Dariia Ivanova, the Chair of the Russian Department, Elena Shimkovich, the Chair of the General Disciplines Department. The delegation also includes two KFU international students: Aslam Hannan (India) and El-Bayum Mohand El-Saeed Ibrahim (Egypt).

They say that every cloud has a silver lining. COVID-19 outbreak is a cloud which has brought about many challenges, to say the least. But not without a silver lining at that. In the educational field, this lining took a shape of a giant leap in the development and application of distance learning technologies.

2021 is a Year of Science in Russia. However, research has always been the focal point of university life and activities.

60 years ago man flew to space for the first time in human history. Russian cosmonaut Yurii Gagarin orbited the Earth in Vostok-1 spaceship. Without any doubt, this flight was an act of heroism for a single man and a great breakthrough for the whole mankind.

On April 6th our delegation visiting the Uzbek Republic within the business mission of the Udmurt Republic took part in two important events.

From April 5 to 7 the official delegation of the Udmurt Republic including the representatives of business and educational organizations is visiting the Uzbek Republic.

The joint project proposal of the Udmurt State University and South Dakota State University has recently been announced the winner of the University Virtual Partner Program. Seven other US-Russian projects received grant support within the program.

On March 29 the representatives of the Consulate General of the Uzbek Republic in Kazan visited our university with the purpose of discussing the prospects of cooperation between UdSU and Uzbek universities.

On March 24 the Rector of the Udmurt State University Prof. Galina Merzlyakova met online her Turkmen counterpart Esen Aydogdyev, the Rector of the International University of Humanitarian Sciences and Development.
