Today is the opening day of the UdSU annual signature event - the International Multilingual Week. This year it is held from March 1 to 5 and within the framework of the university’s 90th anniversary celebrations.

In 2010, the University of Indonesia (UI) initiated a global university ranking, which later became known as the UI Green Metric World University Rankings.

German academic exchange service DAAD holds an annual contest among Russian higher education institutions for the best international summer school projects. DAAD supports the winners’ projects by providing scholarships to students and organizing recruitment campaigns. Thus, German students get a chance to acquaint themselves with the Russian educational system, Russian language, and upgrade their professional skills. This year the project proposal of the Udmurt State University became one of the winners.

On December 2, the Rector of the Udmurt State University, Galina Vitalievna Merzlyakova, met with the Consul General of Turkmenistan in Kazan, Atadurdy Khaldurdyevich Bayramov.

In October 2020 the RF Ministry of Education announced the results of the projects contest held within the framework of the national target programme “Education Development: Scientific, Methodological and Staffing Support of the Russian and Minority Languages Teaching”.

On February 5th and 6th, 2021 the Udmurt State University will be hosting the International Applied Research Conference “Blockchain Technologies 2021”. This is a joint project of the UdSU and the Ministry of Informatization and Communications of the Udmurt Republic.

December 1st to 4th Izhevsk and our university will be hosting the All-Russian UN Model (IzhMUN) for the 11th time. This is a joint project of 3 UdSU divisions: the Institute of History and Sociology, the Department for Youth and Social Affairs, and the UdSU Academic Library.
