The internship in China, at the Beijing Forestry Engineering University, completed a six-month Russian-Chinese training program for specialists in the development and implementation of natural and climatic projects and work on carbon markets. Representatives of the Udmurt State University and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Udmurt Republic took part in the programme. The program included three full-time modules in Moscow and Veliky Novgorod, two internships at carbon landfills in Tyumen and Irkutsk, and the internship in China. As a result, a project from Udmurtia on organic waste bio-processing became one of the five finalists of this program (more than 70 projects from 56 regions of the Russian Federation participated in total) and will be presented at the exhibition of climate projects at the Sirius University of Science and Technology.
