Participation of UdSU in the Priority 2030 Program Is Prolonged

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation published the protocol of the commission for selecting universities to participate in the Priority 2030 Strategic Academic Leadership Program in 2024. Based on the results achieved in 2023, the commission decided to allocate grants for the next year and made changes to the list of participants in the Program.

In 2024, Udmurt State University will continue to work in the Priority 2030 program, and the size of the grant for the university has been increased by one and a half times - from 100 million to 152 million rubles.

It is important to note that the competition for the right to participate in the Priority 2030 program is quite tough: by decision of the commission, 10 universities were excluded, which is about 17% of the total participants in our category.

“I would like to thank all the university staff and students, our partners who took part in the implementation of projects and activities under the Priority 2030 program. Of particular importance to us is the support of the Head of the Udmurt Republic Aleksandr V. Brechalov, assistance from the Government of the Udmurt Republic. In 2024, we have a lot of work ahead of us to implement projects that are important for the region and the country in the field of advanced production technologies, ecology, education, culture and other areas. I wish us all success, effectiveness and inspiration on this path!” – noted UdSU Rector Galina V. Merzlyakova.
