The UdSU rector, Professor Galina Merzlyakova extends her congratulations on the International Students’ Day:
"International Students' Day is a holiday celebrated by all students of universities, institutes and colleges around the world. Student years are a time of brave ideas and creative discoveries. During this period, knowledge is acquired, a life position is formed, and the foundations of future work are laid. Our students are purposeful, talented, initiative, thinking and creative young people.
For almost 20 years, Udmurt State University has been annually opening its doors to foreign students who become specialists in the field of pedagogy, politics, management, psychology, art, etc. We are proud of the achievements of our graduates and we know that nothing is impossible for them, because they have learned to learn and develop.
On the International Students' Day, I want to congratulate everyone who decided to become a student and master any profession important to society! Studentship is a fun time when passing difficult tests, exams, sleepless nights are almost erased from memory, because the stormy celebration of the passed session, the sea of new acquaintances, friends almost completely replace them. I wish you, dear students, to get an education, master your favorite profession and realize your lofty goals and desires!"
