On April 23 the university administration met student representatives to tell them about job opportunities which UdSU provides to its students during the pandemic crisis.

Throughout April the researchers of the Department of Udmurt History, Anthropology and Ethnology are organizing a series of events in order to disseminate anthropological knowledge, showcase the results of students and faculty's field work, demonstrate the latest achievements in the area of cultural anthropology.

Every spring the UdSU Academic Library opens its doors to those who would like to join the all-Russian 'Biblionight' event held with the purpose to engage more and more people in reading. The year of 2020 is no exception: despite quite unusual circumstances the Biblionight wil be held on April 24.

To answer the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic 5 volunteer students of the Udmurt State Universty are participating in the #WeAreTogether project.

On April 14 a new exhibition was launched by the Educational Arts Centre of the Institute of Arts and Design.

This week the Institute of Social Communication has held the distnace defence of the Graduation Theses for the first time in its history.

A series of 'Live Broadcasts' has been launched by UdSU university admintsration necessitated by the current situation with COVID-19 breakdown, transfer to the distance-learning and the resulting numerous questions from student society.

On April 14 the International and Public Relation Office held a zoom-conference which became a meeting point for the current and future UdSU exchange students, the representatives of the sending institutes and the International Office staff.

Following the guidelines of the order No 545 of the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education dated April 02, the Udmurt State University extends distance-learning for all UdSU students until April 30. This decision is also in line with the latest decree of the Russian President V. Putin "On measures provding epidemiological welfare of Russian citizens in connection with COVID-19 outbreak" (No 239 of April 02, 2020).
