The Summer School of Russian and Udmurt language has reopened its doors for foreign students from around the world. Students from Estonia, Spain, Hungary, Finland and other countries came to Izhevsk to learn Russian and Udmurt culture.
“Dear friends, I am glad to welcome you at our wonderful university and on our hospitable Udmurt land. I think when the Summer School is over, you will love our city and republic as much as we do. I hope that during this time you will get acquainted with our culture, and we will try to provide you with the best opportunities for learning. I wish you success! ”, Galina V. Merzlyakova, the rector of UdSU, welcomed the participants of the Summer School.
Udmurt State University takes the 15th place among the 70 higher educational institutions of the Volga Federal Region by the number of students. Due to the high level of organization of the educational process in the institutes, the active work of the International and Public Relations Office of UdSU, the University is attracting more foreign students and teachers to our region. Thus, the year 2019 has become a jubilee year for relations between UdSU and the universities of Granada (Spain), Helsinki (Finland), Szeged (Hungary), and the University of Keimyung (Daegu, South Korea).
