The year 2019 is the final year of the three-year Grant Program Jean Monnet Module under Erasmus + that has been implemented at Udmurt State University by a group of UdSU professors. The project group is led by Doctorof Philosophy, Professor of the Department of History, Theory and Practice of Social Communications Ildar A. Latypov.
The achievements of the project were presented at the All-Russian Scientific Conference “European and Domestic Experience of Innovative Culture and Intellectual Property Relations: communicative aspects” held at UdSU on June 14-15, 2019. The major discussion topics included European and local experience in the formation of an innovative culture: 1) communicative aspects, 2)European and local experience in the study of intellectual property in communication, 3) Communicative culture in the multilingual reality in the EU and Russia, 4) Innovative mass media in the European Union and Russia: the role and functions.
On June 4, the international informative group Interfax presented the results of the X Annual National Ranking of Universities for the academic year 2018/2019.
In 2019, the National University Ranking expanded the list of participants: the assessment of 327 leading Russian universities was made, which is 39 universities more compared to the last year. This year the Udmurt State University (Izhevsk) took 139-140 place.
On June 5, the final meeting of UdSU International lecturers and the university administration was held. Two institutes of UdGU – Institute of Language and Literature and Institute of Udmurt Philology, Finno-Ugric Studies and Journalism hosted three foreign language lecturers: Maria Victoria Masias Moreno from the University of Granada (Spain), Esa-Jussi Salminen, who was sent to UdSU under the program of the Finnish National Agency for Education and Soma Selmeczy from Budapest University (Hungary). Russian colleagues noted that all lecturers made big contribution not only to the educational process, but also to extracurricular activities of the Institutes, actively participating in various university, city and republican events.
On May 27th, Professor of the Russian Language and Literature Department of the Zadar University (Croatia) Rafaela Bozici visited the UdSU Institute of Language and Literature within the framework of the Erasmus + program.
27 мая в Институт языка и литературы УдГУ приехала доктор филологических наук, профессор кафедры русского языка и литературы Задарского университета (Хорватия) Рафаэла Божич. Профессор посетила наш университет в рамках программы Эразмус+.
5 июня прошла итоговая встреча иностранных преподавателей УдГУ и представителей принимающих институтов с администрацией университета.
On June 4–7, 2019, the 6th All-Russian Scientific Conference “Finno-Ugric World in the Polyethnic Space of Russia: Cultural Heritage and New Challenges” is held in Izhevsk. The topical issues of Finno-Ugric linguistics, folklor and literary studies, musical culture, ethnic history, and modern ethno-social processes are on agenda.
"Commonwealth" is an exhibition held at the Institute of Art and Design of the Udmurt State University every two years. The exhibition in 2019 presents the work of the students from UdSU partner universities in Russia and abroad in the following areas: visual arts, decorative and applied art, design, and architecture.
